Why tallow?

It sounds unusual — until you learn that tallow's fatty-acid profile closely mirrors the lipids your skin already makes. That's why it absorbs fast, feeds the barrier, and doesn't sit on top.

Skin-compatible fatty acids

Rendered tallow carries palmitic, stearic, and oleic acids in roughly the same ratio as human sebum — so it sinks into the skin barrier instead of sitting on top of it.
