How do I use the Moisturising Day Cream?
Massage a pea-sized amount between warm palms until it turns from a soft paste into a liquid, then press it into clean skin. The cream absorbs in seconds and leaves no grease, so it works under makeup or on its own. Apply morning and evening, and reach for an extra layer on cheeks and around the eyes during Michigan winters when the humidity drops.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
That is exactly what it was built for. The formula is oat-, honey-, and chamomile-forward, which are three of the most studied calming ingredients in skincare — particularly colloidal oats, which carry an FDA monograph for soothing irritated skin. There is no fragrance, no synthetic preservative, no essential oil, and nothing the recipe does not need.
What is the shelf life?
About six months from the day you open it. The reason is the raw honey: it is naturally antimicrobial and keeps the cream stable without any synthetic preservative, but that protection fades as the jar gets touched daily. If you use a clean fingertip and close the lid between uses, you will comfortably finish a 2 oz jar well within that window.
Can I use it while pregnant?
Yes. The ingredient list is colloidal oats, raw honey, chamomile extract, beeswax, and sweet almond oil — all food-grade, with no retinoids, no salicylic acid, no synthetic fragrance, and no essential oils. It is the same short list we use on our own faces during pregnancy.
Do you offer samples?
Not yet, and we want to be upfront about it. The formula is water-light enough that a sachet would not represent how it wears on skin, so we have not built a sample SKU. The standing offer is the same as for the balm: try a jar, and if it does not work for you, email us within 30 days and we will refund you — you keep the jar for refills.
